Learning Outcomes

At the end of library sessions, students will be able to: 

  • Understand the publication timeline and recognize that different information sources will be needed to complete Household Product Chemistry Report.
  • Identify related terms for their topics in order to have several terms to use that describe the concept in order to search for articles for the assignment.
  • Construct a simple, effective search strategy, in catalogs and databases in order to effectively find info for assignment 
  • Articulate how to locate the full-text journal article (online or print)
  • Evaluate online resources for relevance and authority
